Uganda’s legendary Afrigo Band is set to take the stage in London for a special performance at the “Cultural Family Summer Holiday”, scheduled for 25 July 2026 at Newham Leisure Centre.

The highly anticipated event is expected to bring together Ugandan and African families in the United Kingdom for a day of music, culture, entertainment and family fun.

The stage setup for the event has now been confirmed, with preparations in place to ensure that Afrigo Band delivers a memorable live performance to fans in attendance.

Afrigo Band has also confirmed its departure from Uganda for London ahead of the show. The band is expected to travel with its celebrated musical repertoire, bringing its timeless classics and energetic live performance to the UK audience.

Legendary Ugandan music icons Afrigo Band are set to headline a highly anticipated summer event dubbed “Afrigo Band Live in London – Summer Holiday Family Day Out in the Park”, scheduled for 25 July 2026 at Newham Leisure Centre.
Organized by Richmond Promotions, the event promises a full-day cultural and entertainment experience, bringing together families, music lovers, and the Ugandan diaspora in the United Kingdom. Gates will open at 12:00 PM and run through to midnight, offering 12 hours of non-stop music, food, and community celebration.
The show will feature electrifying live performances from Afrigo Band, widely regarded as one of East Africa’s most influential and enduring musical groups. They will be joined by a powerful lineup of guest artistes including Jose Chameleon,Betty Mpologoma and Sama Sojah adding to the event’s star appeal.


Ticket prices have been structured to cater to a wide audience. Standard tickets are priced at £35, with an early bird offer at £25. VIP access is available at £50, with early bird VIP tickets going for £40, while children’s tickets are set at an affordable £10, making the event accessible for families.
Speaking ahead of the event, organizers described the event as more than just a music show, highlighting it as a celebration of African culture, unity, and summer joy in one of London’s most vibrant communities.
